According to Detroit Free Press, the Ford F-150 Pro Power Onboard system saved a Michigan wedding reception from ending too soon when the power abruptly cut off. Harish Thiruvengadam, a Ford mechanical engineer and one of the groom’s closest buddies at the event, saved the day. He quickly reacted and pulled his F-150 truck onto the reception lawn, where he was able to run several power strips from his truck to the provided outlets in the pickup bed. Rachna Narada, the bride, stated that the party was “amazing, and everyone was in their groove.” The F-150 helped to keep the party going until 2 a.m.
This is a perfect example of how vital Ford’s Pro Power Onboard and its available 7,200 watts can be in an emergency, such as when you are left without power at home or even a wedding reception.
